Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (806) 701-5103. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 180 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

I would recommend no one to go here. Over a year ago I took my car in after I noticed the a/c was not blowing cold. They said it need new hoses and seals for $300. I then picked up the car and immediately had to go to Florida as my father passed and his funeral was in a couple days. It was blowing cold so thought all was good. Wasn't til we took the first gas break we noticed it wasn't blowing cold, but at that point we were several 100 miles into the trip. So we just kept going. It was when we were over 50mph on highway it ran cold again and so for the whole trip hoped we didn't go under 50mph for too long since it was over 90+ summer. When we took it back they said they needed to check the voltage. They "checked" the a/c and then said it was the compressor and would cost $1500 to fix...but it was coincidence that it broke after they worked on it. Really - broke the day after they touched it? AND - Firestone would do same repair for $1100 - $400 difference. Also, we couldn't fix it since so much. We just got it replaced and there were no seals when it replaced. Do not go here unless you want to dump money. If I could do 0 stars for review ...

Beware of Monkey Mike's Mechanic Shop! I can’t stress enough how awful my experience was with Monkey Mike's. Please let my story serve as a warning—especially for single parents and young Tech students! Against my better judgment with The stolen BUSINESS name of a good mechanic should’ve told it all , I recommended my daughter take her Toyota to this shop. Mike charged her $45 for a diagnostic, only to claim it needed four spark plugs and a coil, racking up a $700 bill. After all that, the car continued to have starting issues. When she returned to the shop, he fed her excuses, saying there was a “line” and it would take days to look at it AGAIN. When I called him for updates, he accused me of being rude for simply asking why the problem wasn't resolved after paying for repairs. His attitude was dismissive and condescending, showing complete disregard for my daughter’s situation. In the end, I told him if he valued that $700 more than actually helping my daughter, he could keep it. If you care about your money and want honest service, steer clear of Monkey Mike's. This shop preys on those who are vulnerable, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Find a mechanic who ge

I can’t urge others to avoid this place enough. I’m out $1,000 because of them. To make a long story short, they charged me $700 for a power steering pump, which turned out faulty after two weeks. I took it back because it had a warranty. I lived off of Ubers for 3 weeks while they lied about how long it would take to get the second replacement. Then, that second replacement pump turned out faulty after another two weeks. I hope that this was incompetence and not crookedness… though I think that’s wishful thinking. Additionally, one of my Uber drivers during this process told me that his dad had a similar issue. They messed up his car worse than before he took it in.

I had a really stressful experience with my Chrysler 200 last month. It was having a common electrical issue that ultimately led to needing a full transmission replacement. Before coming here, I went to a couple of other shops to see if it might be something less serious, but it was confirmed to be a transmission problem. I called around to multiple places and the quotes I was getting were so high that it honestly didn’t even seem worth fixing the car. This shop gave me the best quote by far, and I was genuinely surprised compared to the other numbers I had been given. They were honest, straightforward, and helpful throughout the process. I truly appreciate their pricing and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing major repairs.
